More than 3 million people visit the Meiji Jingu Shrine during the New Year period. You can see the large wooden Torii Gate with the height of 12 meters in the shrine grounds. The Main Hall enshrines Emperor Meiji (1852-1912) and Empress Shoken (1850-1914).
Most of the paths in the park are graveled. There is no problem to use the Electric wheelchair.
