The accessibility from the nearest Ryogoku Station (JR) to Edo-Tokyo Museum is good. It is barrier free inside, restrooms with wheelchair access are provided and parking spaces for people with disabilities are available. Most of the exhibited objects can be photographed and history after the Edo Period (17th to 19th century) can be learnt. The museum shops are popular amongst foreign tourists as they offer fulfilling range of Japanese souvenirs. Most of the special exhibitions as well as the permanent ones are also interesting.
