Shitamachi Museum is a small museum with the atmosphere of the downtown area from Meiji to Taisho Period (around the turn of the 20th century). People’s lives in row houses, Japanese style rooms, and antique tools are nostalgic. The museum is close to Ueno Station (JR and Keisei) with good accessibility. Wheelchair users can use the elevator to the second floor. Wheelchair users should use nearby parking lots.
