Asakusa Pier is the jetty for the water bus cruising Sumida-gawa River. Restrooms with wheelchair access, slopes and assistance to get on and off the boat are available. Most of the boats bound for Hinode-sanbashi Pier (near Hamamatsucho Station) make a stop at Hama-rikyu Garden on the way. During the cherry blossom season, passengers can enjoy flowers on both river banks, as the boat goes to and makes a U-turn at upstream Sumida Park and back to the pier. The explanation about the scenery from the boat is in Japanese and English making this boat cruise popular among foreign tourists.
