Japan Airlines Priority Guest Reservation Center
In February 1994, Japan Airlines(JAL) established a support system for passengers who need special care such as: senior citizens, young children, and people with disabilities. This system features the first such officially operated service in Japan. Priority Guest Reservation Center provides information about trips, the JAL co-ordination service, and facsimile access for hearing or speaking impaired guests.
Once you apply for a Priority Guest Card, your name, telephone number, and information about assistance necessary for you are input into JAL's computer. Thus, the next you travel after your initial registration, your information will already be in the JAL's computer, and you will receive appropriate service.
Those desiring membership are requested to complete both a JAL "information form" for passengers who require assistance and a "medical record or medical information sheet."
For further information such as in-flight service in braille (Japanese), on-board wheelchairs (on all international and on limited domestic flights), and special meals (international flights only, on request in advance), please telephone JAL Priority Guest Reservation Center or its branch offices.

ANA Sky Assist Desk
All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Air Nippon (ANK), an ANA subsidiary, established "ANA Sky Assist Desk" to provide easier access to air travel for disabled passengers needing special assistance, on January 8,1997. In addition to providing assistance with such arrangements as stretchers and the use of medical equipment, the desk will also coordinate assistance with departure and arrival procedures and meet other customer requests.ANA Sky Assist Desk
