Following is a list of town maps for the disabled issued by local autonomies or other organizations. These maps are published in Japanese, only. Regrettably, the maps are only as recent as the issue dates indicated and the number of copies is limited. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and we ask you to consider these points before ordering the maps.

Tokyo
Minato-ku Wheelchair Map (Minato-ku)

    Divides the ward into 11 areas and introduces major public facilities and communal buildings along routes.

Guide Map for Excursions by Challenged People (Sumida-ku)

    Provides information on the locations of public facilities and parks within Sumida-ku as well as information about relevant facilities outside of Sumida-ku. It also contains information regarding access to the railway and subway stations located in Sumida-ku.

    Information of the facilities inside and around Chiyoda-ku such as public facilities, stations, shops which are accessible to the disabled and aged. In 1999 edition, Izumibashi and Bancho areas are introduced. In 2000 edition, Manse-bashi and Fujimi areas are introduced. Whole area of Chiyoda-ku is going to be covered by 2001.

    For each railroad station in Tokyo shows wheelchair-accessible facilities with symbols. Shows if toilet for wheelchair user is available or not, and accessibility.
