The Tokyo National Museum has several buildings. They are used depending on the character of exhibitions. All the buildings have elevators so visitors can easily move to other floors. Besides the permanent exhibition (of Japanese swords where foreigners show interest), some special exhibitions attract a large number of visitors in a long queue. The routes from the nearest Ueno Station (JR) are mostly flat and information about parking spaces for wheelchair users is available by making contact in advance.
